The Meaning Of Christmas.
It’s that time of year again.
A time when we think of all our friends.
Some we haven’t seen in years.
Our only contact is a card bringing Christmas cheer.
Relatives and other close friends receive
a present from the heart, we believe.
Yes, the lights are pretty, the tree smells nice.
The Santa’s and reindeer & streamers of ice.
All the other commercial treats
leaves little to remember why we feast.
It’s not really Jesus birthday; thats in the fall.
But, that is why Christmas exists at all.
The Son of God came to earth as a baby.
To grow up & save all men and ladies.
By giving His life for the wages of sin.
Though He himself knew no sin.
So when you read that Christmas card
or open that Christmas present, pard,
remember to give thanks to the one who gave all.
that you could be saved from sin and the fall.
