Watchman, What Of The Night??

Watchman, what of the night??

Are we headed for a dreadful plight?

Things are not well, we are aware.

There are rumors in the air.

We have banned God from schools .

Are people no longer allowed to choose?

The government limiting our constitutional rights.

Enough of this and people will fight.

Are we sliding into socialism with communism not far behind?

Such thoughts or talk is enough to blow your mind.

Is the government telling women to get abortions?

Fighting such thinking can cost a fortune.

Can we own guns? A constitutional  right.

Or, will they be banned so we can’t fight?

Murder is wrong. Self defense is a not.

Better to shoot back before you get shot.

Freedom of speech is a precious thing.

Forced silence can make you scream.

Freedom of religion is most precious of all.

If that is banned this country will fall.

 

Watchman, what of the night??

Is the final days finally in sight?

Things look bad on every front.

It’s enough to put one in a funk.

But, as we see prophecy  unfold.

We know it’s true what we were told.

Surrender to God with all your heart.

He promises you will never be apart.

He will carry you through the time of trouble.

As safe as if you were in a bubble.

Your food and water will be sure.

It can be done, if your heart is pure.

It won’t be easy but, faith will prevail.

Weather in caves or even in jail.

God will seal you with a seal  in your mind.

You would die before sinning at this time.

You will end up going with Him.

To heaven and beyond, safe from sin.

What better reward can there be?
