Sweet Surrender
Have you often come to God to say.
Forgive my sins. I will obey.
Yet, as you go out into the city.
You sin again. It’s such a pity.
You cannot go on doing this over and over.
Something is missing . Not a 4 leafed clover.
What you need is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Complete surrender in all areas will cure it.
The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin.
Then give you the strength to overcome from within.
Everything you see, do, and say
will be changed in every way.
A new creature you will become.
One who is only focused on the Holy One.
Religious things will become a pleasure.
Worldly things will have lost their flavor.
It happens as fast as you can surrender.
Trust in God with every thought and member.
You will come to reflect Christ in every way.
People will see the change is here to stay.
You’ll love your neighbor as yourself.
Be they poor or loaded with wealth.
God will guide your every move.
Nothing the Holy Spirit will not include.
God will work miracles through you.
God will control all but, your no fool.
You’re a son or daughter of God.
Eternal life for surrender is not odd.
Are you up to this herculean task?
