Alien Invasion Repelled

           Alien Invasion Repelled

The day they arrived was a weekend.

I was sleeping in. Same as I usually did.

I was rudely awakened. And so it begins.

The TV was blaring. People flipping their lids.

Aliens were here, was the word on the news.

They were sucking up water from the oceans.

From clear water lakes, where ever they choose.

Hundreds of them, doing the same motions.

Basically, they were ignoring humans.

All they wanted was the water we had.

They all looked like some sort of mutants.

With insect thrown in, which was bad.

The water was sucked into gigantic ships.

They looked like giant tankers in the sky.

When one tanker was full, away it zipped.

Another soon arrived, be it day or night.

In 3 days ocean levels had dropped 6 inches.

Fresh water lakes dropped more than a foot.

The military wanted to get one in its clenches.

They couldn’t touch them by hook or crook.

A force field protected them and their ships.

They were untouchable from our point of view.

They even tried to nuke a tanker for kicks.

They results were grim. No change that they knew.

There had to be  a way to stop them, but how?

Nothing seemed to work. The force field was strong.

Water went through. They sucked it up like a cow.

A Navy Seal got through. Bringing a  bong.

Not really. It was a powerful bomb they sucked up.

Once in the ship, it exploded, blowing it apart.

Parts & water rained down + some gut.

Alien parts were gathered & put in a cart.

Analyzed, standardized, & cataloged & mailed.

Now they had what they needed to handle them.

They could dissolve them like salt on a snail.

Sea salt with iodide added to dissolve them.

Like a line of salt would ward off a demon.

It seemed to be the ideal answer to this.

Salt cannons were prepared to feed them.

This special brew that turned them to piss.

All areas were attacked at once.

Down came all ships, blown apart.

Aliens dissolved. Nothing left but junk.

Humans had overcome the little farts.
