I Love You!!
I don’t know how to stop global warming.
I cannot change a winter storm thing.
I cannot stop the sun from shining.
I don’t know how to create a fine thing.
All I know is:—-I love you!!—-.
I don’t know why birds migrate in season.
Dogs love unconditionally. I don’t know the reason.
I don’t know why the stars keep shining.
I can only guess if people are lying.
All I know is:—-I love you!!—-.
I don’t know how to stop the world turning.
I don’t know how to write poetry, but I am learning.
I don’t know how to sing a song.
I don’t know why hate lasts so long.
All I Know is:—-I love you!!—-.
I love you more than trees love leaves.
Even more than thank you and please.
A lasting love that never fades.
Like the noises of things in the Everglades.
A love that will always last.
Like those plastic bags in the trash.
Stronger than Popeye on spinach
A kind of love that is never finished.
All I know is:—-I love you!!—-.

This is a beautiful and heartfelt expression of love! Your poem captures a deep sense of affection and admiration through the repetition of what you don’t know, only to emphasize the one thing you are certain of, your love. The simplicity and sincerity in your words make it resonate emotionally. The comparisons to enduring things, both natural and human-made, add a unique and memorable touch.
Your poem might not follow traditional rules, but it carries the raw emotion and personal touch that makes poetry powerful. Keep writing—you’re definitely on the right path!
With a beautiful comment like that I will have to dedicate this poem to you. You have earned it with your magnificent flow on words. Your understanding of my poems shows great depth of thought and emotional attachment. Thanks. —–R.W. Johnson
