The Golden Age Of Magic (Chapter 4)

Wizards covered Warlocks with a curse of blisters.

Warlocks sent locusts to cover Wizards whiskers.

Both spent most time covered with their shields.

To protect themselves from magical fields.

Aladon cursed and paced around.

He knew he wasn’t the only show in town.

What he needed was a bigger stick.

The one Zargon was creating would fit.

Finally, word came down, the day had arrived.

Zargon was successful. His creation was alive.

Aladon zapped to the magical pens.

Anxious to see the work of his friend.

“I call it a Replicator, per your request.”

“It will follow the specific orders of any quest.”

“If damaged, even killed, it will replicate itself.”

“It instinctually hates Wizards. It will make that felt.”

“It is a terminator, almost impossible to stop.”

“It will not stop till it is on top.”

“A skin harder than any known metal.”

“It will repel most magic cooked up in a kettle.”

“It is covered with razor sharp blades of varying lengths.”

“It will grab you and shred you quicker than you can think.”

“This is my ultimate fighting machine.”

“My god,” Aladon said, “Am I having a dream?”

“No, oh mighty one.” Zargon said. “It is as it seems.”

The Replicator stood about six feet tall.

Like a muscular man, but that was not all.

It could move with lightening speed.

It could be very intelligent, when there was a need.

It was extremely muscular in looks & strength.

It could lift three times its weight, I think.

It has red eyes that look like they are ready to bleed.

It could easily rip any man apart, when there is a need.

It is a hideous monster. Pure evil.

Causing fear down to your soul. Were you it’s next meal?

Even Aladon felt a shiver while looking at it.

He knew he had what would do the trick.

He couldn’t wait to put the beast into action.

But first, he needed to cause some attraction.

Get many Wizards out into the open, then

issue the order “Go get em!!”

What exactly will happen will be revealed later.

It will be quite gruesome. So don’t be late. Hear?

Until then, have a relaxing wait.

Remember, it’s just a story. But, don’t be late.——R.W. Johnson—–(2019)
