The Chronicles Of Kronos Volume III Chapter Four
Once back in heaven, Kronos discussed his plan.
“We need to bring in Anika to help us, if we can.”
“Are you sure about this?” Asglow said, alarmed.
“Of course I am. I wasn’t raised down on the farm.”
They contacted Anika and told her what was going on.
“What? This ‘fake’ Kronos is disrupting? Is this a con?”
“No, it is not a con.” They explained it all to her.
“You want me to fight him? How will this occur?”
This was all something totally new to her.
“You have your spear, or lance.”
“Use it, if you get the chance.”
“Wait a minute” ‘The Shadow’ interrupted.
“If she uses that, the results will be disruptive.”
“Remember, you created a spell that would reverse the effects.”
“’Fake’ Kronos knows that spell. It would reverse the lance’s effect.
“That’s right” Kronos said. “I had forgotten about that.”
Anika said “There may be a way around all that”
“What do you mean. Tell us some more.”
“I got the lance from someone in the great war.”
“The one who used it to kill your father, Kronos.”
That was a statement that hurt Kronos the most.
“She is here. A member of heaven to.”
“Kronos, I didn’t mean to upset you.”
“All is forgiven now. Different world. Different time.”
“Thank you so very much for being so kind.”
“Anyhow, how do you think she could help?”
“ She knows ancient magic. It is quite a wealth.”
“She knows the history of the lance. She had it first.”
“She may know other stuff to quench our thirst.”
“Let’s go visit her and see if she could help.”
“She is sweet enough, she could make your heart melt.”
They found Anathea working in her garden.
They said they had come, but it wasn’t to bargain.
They explained everything to her.
Told her what would happen, should use of the lance occur.
They asked if she had any ideas?
Hopefully, something they knew could free us.
Anathea said “You say ‘Fake’ Kronos doesn’t have a soul?”
“That is correct, and it is real quick to let you know.”
“That makes a real difficult problem.”
“It probably can’t be killed. That we must solve then.”
“I have one idea that might help some.”
“It is a spell that would make it forget where it came from.”
“With a little tweaking, It would forget magic.”
“But, it wouldn’t be a permanent fix. That would be tragic.”
They all drew a blank for a while as to how it would help.
Then ‘The Shadow’ said “There is something that I once felt.”
“Do you remember where Egor, its creator, was sent?”
“Well, I know exactly where he was sent.”
“Into the future. Well your future, not mine.”
“The future would make a difference due to the change in time.”
“ I could take it there by going in the in between.”
“Leave it there, where it could cause a scene.”
“But first, take away its memory.”
“Let it be Frankenstein’s monster. Perfect for Henry.”
“What? What exactly is that?” Kronos said.
“It is part of my history. Enough said.”
“I don’t understand, but I trust you.”
“Then, all we have to do is to see it through.”
They started making plans with Anathea.
She agreed to help. In the end, they had to agree, ya.
What they planned and how they will pull it off
is something to be told later. Pardon my cough.
We will check back in later to see how it’s going.
Hopefully, things will go right on flowing.
