Just Wasting Time

Just Wasting Time

Sitting here thinking how time flies by.
When I was young time didn’t fly.
But now, before I know it.
The day is gone. I couldn’t slow it.
If I could write my life in rhyme.
It would probably be a real crime.
I would dwell on the good times.
Pass over the bad. It doesn’t rhyme.
Most anyone would do the same.
To dwell on bad is really lame.
For most, the past is always better.
But, if you really stick to the letter.
Life is good at any time.
It can also be bad. A real crime.
Pretty much it is what you make it.
If your negative, you can’t fake it.
If your positive things are better.
You don’t have to be a go getter.
Just be you. Your one of a kind.
On with my dreaming, if you don’t mind.
