More Than A Friend (Part 8)
They told Coz’s dad what happened on their date.
How Pete acted like a knucklehead. Just their fate.
“This boy is a conceited ass” Coz’s dad said.
“He won’t stop being that way till he is dead.”
“Which reminds me. I forgot to tell you something.”
“You have one more app. which is a fun thing.”
“You can use a magnetic force.”
“Pull magnetized things to you, of course.”
“Anything that reacts to magnetism is affected.”
“Tom’s computer would not be affected.”
“You can attract stuff or drive it away.”
“You have the power to work it either way.”
“If there was a gun or knife on the floor.”
“You could make it fly to you or give a gore.”
“Whatever you want will respond to you.”
“As long as a magnet will work on it too.”
This was great news and the boys practiced.
They could fling metal scraps like a cactus.
The penetration power when they hit
was like a cactus thorn. They did their bit.
Later in the week they had a problem.
They ran into Pete again at Browlin’s.
A grocery store that was in town.
Had he been following them around?
He tried to force Raywin to go with him.
“Back off wimps!” He said with a grin.
The meat locker was nearby.
The door flew open and smacked the guy.
It knocked him out. “What will we do?”
“Put him in the meat locker. Let him cool”
They dragged him in before anyone saw.
Coz froze him before he could thaw.
Or rather, wake up from the hit by the door.
Pete turned a nice blue and no more.
The girls didn’t see this. They had already left.
Which was good because the cold caused an effect.
It seems reptiles can’t take cold very well.
He was frozen and deader than hell.
Before he froze solid he became a reptile.
Coz and Tom were shocked at his ugly style.
They all left and headed for home.
The girls called them on the phone.
“What happened at the store?”
Coz said “Someone slammed the loading door.”
“That caused the door by us to pop open.”
“Oh.” They said “Just in time to poke him.”
“Yup.” Said Tom. “Good luck on our part.”
“He deserved it from the start.”
Next day, it was in the news.
A weird reptile creature found all blue.
Frozen solid in the meat locker.
A mystery that was a mind blocker.
Also it was mentioned the mayor’s son
seemed to be missing after a night of fun.
The mayor knew the creature was his son.
Problem was he couldn’t tell anyone.
Pete had met his waterloo.
The mayor cussed and called his son a fool.
Only Coz and Tom knew what happened.
The door flew open like any metal contraption.
The magnetic force of Coz was strong.
He kept quiet, but didn’t feel it was wrong.
