Love In The Moonlight

   Love In The Moonlight

A moonlet sky.

Night birds fly by.

No one. Just you and I

The apple of each other’s eye.

We stroll along.

Humming our little song.

Arm in arm, feeling strong.

Sneaking a kiss, before too long.

We stop. A view to see.

Soon, you melt into me.

Standing there, feeling free.

I’m into you and you’re into me.

Wishing this would never end.

Remembering when you were just a friend.

A special message I want to send.

I’ll always be yours until the end.

Message sent and message received.

Our love for each other will do the deed.

Our world is filled up with two, indeed.

With each other, there is no other need.

A night to remember, like a reward.

We became of one accord.

Distractions trimmed away by a sword.

The sword of truth, it’s own reward.
