Is A Win Really A Win?

Is A Win Really A Win?

I have heard it before.

I’ll hear it again.

A knock at the door.

Maybe I’ll win.

No chance in hell.

I’ve heard that before.

They’re ringing the bell.

What could it be for?

You have won!!

You’re rich as hell.

You said it couldn’t be done.

I’m rich now, so don’t tell.

Oh, it’s true. It’s damn true.

I knew I’d win again.

So, now what will we do?

She looked at me with a grin.

First, we’ll pay these damn bills.

Be debt free for a change.

Then, time for some thrills.

A busy schedule can be arranged.

What about the needy?

The poor will always be with us.

That is no reason to be greedy.

How do you know who you can trust?

I guess there is no way?

This puts us in a real bind.

Save most for a rainy day.

Yet, I feel I should be kind.

What the hell is wrong with you?

You tried for years to be a winner.

Now that you are, what do you do?

You’re not worth the price of a dinner.

You weren’t born to ever be rich.

Might as well give it all away.

Why are you being such a bitch?

This is supposed to be our lucky day.

It proves money doesn’t make you happy.

If anything, it makes more problems.

Will you just quit talking sappy.

If there is problems, we will solve them.

Let’s sleep on it and decide tomorrow.

We will be thinking clearer then.

This is good. There should be no sorrow.

O.K., but just think, what did you really win??
