Math Genius
He was an average, ordinary teenage boy.
Then he slipped and fell, tripping over a toy.
He was hospitalized with a concussion.
His accident caused quite a disruption.
Several days later he started seeing numbers.
He could do math without any blunders.
Before, he was an average math student.
Now, at math, he was very prudent.
He did math like a computer in his head.
Finally, he was well enough to leave his bed.
He was tested in many ways.
He never failed to amaze.
He was faster than a super computer.
100% accurate with all computes here.
He did it all in his head without problem.
Any problems given, he would solve them.
His fame spread far and wide.
Soon, he was carrying himself with pride.
He was asked to work for NASA.
“Can you solve what we ask ya?”
He could with no problem at all.
His word would be the final call.
Then, on a manned flight into space.
A problem arose that needed haste.
He was called in to help.
He could solve the problem in time, they felt.
On his way he tripped and fell.
Hit his head hard, they could tell.
When he woke up he knew no math.
He was less than average now in that.
His days of fame and glory were over.
He could not have felt any lower.
He felt like he could flip his lid.
His flame burned out long before his legend did.
Now, he is again an average high school kid.
But, it was great remembering all that he did.
