The Little Knight Win’s Big
The day happened as I was told.
The fairies told me to be bold.
I wanted to win the hand,
of the fairest in the land.
The fairies told me how I can.
They said I have to be the man.
I knew what I had to do.
My mama didn’t raise a fool.
Today was the championship joust.
I owned the best horse in the house.
I entered with a goal in mind.
Everything was going to be just fine.
I defeated all who came my way.
The king’s champion was next today.
None had been able to defeat him.
I had to do it.—–. I had to win!!
The flag was dropped & off we went.
Toward one another, we were sent.
Lances down, we hit in a clash.
The Black Knight was knocked on his ass.
The crowd went wild with cheers.
I rode in front of the king with no fear.
He said: “Name your prize, oh mighty knight.”
“Your daughter’s hand, if I might?”
The king was shocked into silence.
The crowd cheered, he feared violence.
He agreed to my bold request.
But, the best part is coming yet.
For I have won the hand,
of the fairest in the land.
