A Way Out

A Way Out.

The daily stressors of life.
I can’t take it. Too much strife.
Too many wars. Too much killing.
I could fight back, but I’m not willing.
It has all gone to my head.
I never want to leave my bed.
Pollution, plagues, and starvation.
I need more than a vacation.
Earthquakes, volcanoes, and drought.
Things are wrapping up, without a doubt.
Bills, bills, and more bills.
Pay and pay, without any thrills.
Get shot driving across town.
Even be afraid of a clown.
The world is closing in.
It is getting dark from within.
Soon, there will be no way out.
No need to jump and shout.
Many say the answer is prayer.
Yet, it is still more than I can bare.
LOVE is the answer. A special kind.
Agape love,—– I have in mind.
This cannot be given by man.
You can search for it all you can.
It seems to originate with God.
They say He rules with an iron rod.
Yet, things are all screwed up.
We have really gotten into a rut.
But, God hasn’t given up on us.
We can’t do it without His trust.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.
He will lead us through this fight.
The great controversy between good and evil.
God is the good against Satan’s evil deal.
We are pawns, stuck in the middle.
I hope you are dancing to the right fiddle.
I must fight off this mental depression.
There is hope, without exception.
There is a way out of it all.
Have faith in God, that you will not fall.
He will gladly take you through.
The time of trouble is approaching you.
Without Him, you’re down and out.
Satan won’t save you, without a doubt.
Don’t hide in bed or cover it with drugs.
Don’t end it all by ‘eating’ a slug.
Stand up and say: “I’m yours, because.”
“I can’t do it on my own. I need agape love.”
