Country Bully Learns A Lesson
Billy Joe was known as a bully.
A big ole country boy, called ‘Joey’.
He hung out at the local bar.
He was a great hustler, by far.
He would shoot pool all day.
While drinking & bullying his way.
One day a city slicker came in.
In no time ‘Joey’ challenged him.
“Joey’ tried to hustle him for his money.
The city slicker didn’t think it was funny.
The city slicker cleaned ‘Joey’s’ plow.
Then he said “You owe me now.”
This really made ‘Joey’ mad.
He started acting like a real cad.
He started pushing the city slicker around.
Saying he was a stupid clown.
The city slicker laid into ‘Joey’ then.
He punched ‘Joey’ right in the chin.
They fought from the counter out to the street.
Soon, ‘Joey’ looked like minced meat.
The city slicker beat him to a pulp.
For ‘Joey’ to win, there was little hope.
Then the city slicker let ‘Joey’ up.
“You’re attitude is in a rut.”
He told ‘Joey’ to change his ways.
Or, he may never see another day.
The city slicker took his money and left.
‘Joey’ looked sheepish. His pants were wet.
‘Joey’ never went to the bar again.
He acted like it was some type of sin.
He started going to church every week.
The change in him was, oh so sweet.
Just goes to show what they say.
An ‘attitude adjustment’ is the only way.
‘Joey’ had his that day in the bar.
That ‘adjustment’ took him very far.
He is a much better man today.
A ‘city slicker’ changed his ways.
