A Way Out
I’m going down. Buried deep in thought.
I keep thinking; ‘What have we wrought?’
What does man think he is doing?
All the fighting, killing, and undoing.
As we sink deeper into the cesspool of life.
Do we ever think about the pain and strife?
Have we ever thought; ‘There has to be a better way.’
Do we ever have doubts at the end of each day?
Man is stubborn, arrogant, spiteful, and mean.
As a race we lack a lot, or so it would seem.
The whole thing just doesn’t make sense.
For man’s behavior, I have no defense.
The only answer that even comes close.
It’s in the Bible, so none can boast.
This earth and it’s race is cursed with sin.
We are ruled by powers that work from within.
Is there evil? If yes, then there is good.
Are we ever on the side that we should?
We are only pones in a universal game.
One between Satan and God so one can claim.
I was right all along. Stay with me where you belong.
We don’t have a lot to say about how to choose.
We have ‘free will’, but if we choose wrong, we lose.
We need the knowledge of what is really going on.
Without this, we can never be strong.
What are the rules to this universal game?
If we know, would we play our part the same?
Most likely not, or so the Bible says.
Yet, most will still chose wrong. Why? I guess
it is due to a lifetime of conditioning by sin.
But, choosing right is the only way to win.
Choosing wrong will put an end to it all.
Everyone will remember the fall.
But, if you chose wrong you are gone.
You won’t care if the world goes on.
All thought has ended for you.
Those who chose right will continue to
praise God for saving them for eternity.
The whole universe will benefit, you see.
Sin will never raise again. We can be assured.
Do your part and follow The Word.
