Lazy Days Of Summer

     Lazy Days Of Summer

The gentle river rolling by.

See all the pretty butterflies.

The sun warm and soothing.

Makes me feel like snoozing.

Birds chirping in the trees.

Limbs moving in a gentle breeze.

Crickets making all their noises.

All together, sounding like voices.

Time is gently passing by.

No one there, but you and I.

Gentle thoughts on my mind.

It’s why we come here all the time.

A time to remember often.

Each kiss makes the moments soften.

Summertime, and the living is easy.

I speak of it & feel you squeeze me.

But, alas, the time has come.

We must head back where we came from.

Be assured, we will come again.

After all, you are much more than a friend.

The Acolyte Learns To Relax

            The Acolyte Learns To Relax

“This will take you to other realms.” The wizard said.

“The trip won’t be just in your head.”

The acolyte looked at the drink with suspicion.

“This may be too much for my inhibitions.”

“I have drank the potion many times myself.”

“To understand its power you must know how it felt.”

With shaking hands the acolyte downed the drink.

Suddenly, he disappeared in just a wink.

The wizard sat and read while waiting.

The acolyte’s return, he was anticipating.

In about 2 hours the acolyte popped into view.

His clothes were wrinkled and his hair was askew.

“Did you have fun in the alternate realm?”

‘Holy shit!!”—– He was over whelmed.

The wizard knew just what he had  seen & done.

He had gone there often just for fun.

“The Kit Kat Club is quite a place.”

“I’ll say.” the acolyte said with a red face.

“I sent you there to relieve some tension.”

“You seemed a little uptight before, did I mention?”

“Well, your plan worked. I am well relaxed now.”

The wizard knew that would be the outcome somehow.

“Tomorrow we will get down to business, O.K.?”

“Sure, because I have already had ‘the business’ today.”

40 Years?

                   40 Years?

Do you have 40 years, or more, to go?

There is no way that we can know.

I would say, though I’m in my fall,

it’s been a good life overall.

I know I have less than 40 years to go.

Others, much younger, should know.

There is a good life still ahead.

Accidents, illness, & such not said.

Plan on being around till then.

Enjoy each day like it will never end.

You only get one chance at it.

Make it a good one & try to stay fit.

Love hard and love long.

Be true to your love until they are gone.

Little things are the grease for a smooth ride.

Be truthful. Let all know you never lied.

Adding faith to your life makes a difference.

Your life will never feel like a sentence.

Stay healthy. Enjoy it while you can.

In the end you can say you were the man.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Are you satisfied?

Have you realized?

It isn’t what you know.

It is who you know.

Do you know Him?

Is He living within?

He has shown the way.

Will you follow today?

There are many roads.

He will carry your load.

There is only one path.

Very narrow till the last.

If you slip, He will carry.

No reason to be contrary.

Just surrender, He’ll do the rest.

He will make life the very best.

The Unexplained

The Unexplained

I felt that I was getting sick.

I really felt that I was losing it.

Then, I looked up at the clock.

What the hell?? I was in shock.

Somehow I had gained 4 hours.

I wasn’t asleep, or in the shower.

How had that time slipped away?

Things are getting weirder day by day.

I thought back to earlier that day.

I was at the computer. What can I say?

I wasn’t on there for that long.

What in the world had gone wrong?

I felt sluggish, somewhat ill.

I hadn’t taken any pills.

I hadn’t smoked or drank anything.

Did something happen to me unseen?

UFO abductions have missing time.

Something like this can flip your mind.

This had never happened before.

I must stop it from happening anymore.

I set up a secret video recorder.

I turned it on & set things in order.

Each day, while at the computer,

I would be recorded. Can’t lose here.

After a month, things got dull.

Every recording was just a null.

Then, one day it happened again.

Shadow people appeared then.

They surrounded me & I was frozen.

They laid hands on my head. To hold him?

Either they put in or took out something.

I had lost 4 hours again. That’s something.

I watched the recording & was shocked.

I had no memory of being in that spot.

I started to panic. I had no answers.

This is almost worse than cancer.

Another year of recordings produced nothing.

It never happened again. It was disgusting.

What the hell do I do now?

Sleep on it, I was told with a scowl.

Poor advice on how to handle the unknown.

It’d be different if they were the one shown.

Alien Invasion Repelled

           Alien Invasion Repelled

The day they arrived was a weekend.

I was sleeping in. Same as I usually did.

I was rudely awakened. And so it begins.

The TV was blaring. People flipping their lids.

Aliens were here, was the word on the news.

They were sucking up water from the oceans.

From clear water lakes, where ever they choose.

Hundreds of them, doing the same motions.

Basically, they were ignoring humans.

All they wanted was the water we had.

They all looked like some sort of mutants.

With insect thrown in, which was bad.

The water was sucked into gigantic ships.

They looked like giant tankers in the sky.

When one tanker was full, away it zipped.

Another soon arrived, be it day or night.

In 3 days ocean levels had dropped 6 inches.

Fresh water lakes dropped more than a foot.

The military wanted to get one in its clenches.

They couldn’t touch them by hook or crook.

A force field protected them and their ships.

They were untouchable from our point of view.

They even tried to nuke a tanker for kicks.

They results were grim. No change that they knew.

There had to be  a way to stop them, but how?

Nothing seemed to work. The force field was strong.

Water went through. They sucked it up like a cow.

A Navy Seal got through. Bringing a  bong.

Not really. It was a powerful bomb they sucked up.

Once in the ship, it exploded, blowing it apart.

Parts & water rained down + some gut.

Alien parts were gathered & put in a cart.

Analyzed, standardized, & cataloged & mailed.

Now they had what they needed to handle them.

They could dissolve them like salt on a snail.

Sea salt with iodide added to dissolve them.

Like a line of salt would ward off a demon.

It seemed to be the ideal answer to this.

Salt cannons were prepared to feed them.

This special brew that turned them to piss.

All areas were attacked at once.

Down came all ships, blown apart.

Aliens dissolved. Nothing left but junk.

Humans had overcome the little farts.

The Book Of Prophecy

         The Book Of Prophecy

As it is written, so it will become.

The Book Of Prophecy is for everyone.

The problem comes in the interpretation.

This can give you aggravation.

The scroll of history must unwind.

To find out where you are in time.

When all symbols can be applied.

It may be too late. At least you tried.

If it is laid out before it happens.

Prophecy should not be a trap then.

You must get the allegorical language right.

Then you are ready to take up the fight.

All prophecy is given for a reason.

It will be made clear in due season.

Are you a person of prophecy?

Are you prepared to really see?

The end is coming with blinding speed.

I say it is time to take heed.

Study prophecy and you will see.

There is little time left for you and me.

Bubble Gut & Hippy Sways

         Bubble Gut & Hippy Sways

Let me tell you, those were the days.

The days of Bubble Gut and Hippy Sways.

What the hell?, you may say.

Let me tell you about those days.

Bubble Gut & Hippy Sways were a pair.

Both of them had crinkle cut hair.

They attracted attention everywhere.

It wasn’t just their looks, I swear.

They said & did things differently.

What they were was what you see.

Both were a funny sight to me.

They said they were just being free.

Their nicknames came from their looks.

A big ‘bubble gut’, one for the books.

Broad, broad hips that swayed & shook.

They definitely would make you look.

They always talked in rhymes & riddles.

It would make you feel left out, a little.

One played a harp, the other a fiddle.

Their opinions were right down the middle.

They were the talk of the entire school.

The butt of frequent jokes—-, many knew.

It was a lot of hell that they went through.

But, to each other, they were always true.

We often wondered what happened to them.

Since they weren’t among our usual friends.

Were they successful?—— It depends.

Whatever, they will be remembered, till the end.

Annual Physical

              Annual Physical

Rip and tear your underwear.

You won’t need them once in there.

They will ask you to take them off.

Then say; “Turn your head and cough.”

They will put a finger where the sun don’t shine.

They will ask you if you feel fine.

A finger in your sack and ask you to cough.

Hit your knee with a hammer. It won’t be soft.

Follow his finger back and forth.

Don’t forget to show him your wart.

A big breath and let it out slowly.

Over and over. Holy molly.

All the time something cold on your back.

This could bring on a heart attack.

Open wide and say aahhh.

Is there something stuck in my crawl?

This split gown is exposing my ass.

This metal table is colder than glass.

If I can endure all of this, I am in great shape.

Some annual physical. It’s about all I can take.——
