The Mystery Solved
The little knight drew his sword.
He checked the oak door . A solid core.
But, it seemed to be unlocked.
He didn’t fly off half cocked.
He did step in ready to fight.
What he saw was a scary sight.
There stood a wizard with a long white beard.
The black clothes & cape with stars was weird. The wizard turned & saw the knight.
The wizard’s stare was a dreadful fright.
He said ”You dare to come here to my lair?”
“You will pay for this, I swear.”
“I will cause you to lose your job.”
“Next, will be your house. That’s not odd.’
“Your horse will be gone. Maybe your wife.”
“Don’t come closer or you’ll lose your life.”
“You will be in the soup line for your meals”
“They might drag you to jail by your heels”
The little knight was fuming at these words.
“I’ll put an end to you and yours!!”
The little knight screamed as he prepared to charge
The little knight awoke screaming.
Sheets were in a knot & he was leaning.
Bent way over off the bed.
Pain was running through his head.
“What happened?” his wife asked him.
The little knight was scratching his chin.
“It was an evil wizard is all I know”
“He was going to take it all. Even my soul.”
They had no idea what it meant.
They tried their best to forget the event.
Later that day the mail came.
A letter from the IRS in name.
It said we will be auditing you.
The little knight said “Looks like we are threw.”
“Now we know who the wizard is.”
“It’s the IRS and we are his.”
