Kronos Escapes Hell (Epilog)

      Kronos Escapes From Hell (Epilog)

All the Wizards were back home again.

Siran and Ansir thought she couldn’t win.

Anika said  she  would have lost without the plan.

You have to defeat evil however you can.”

Kronos would have detected any magical trap.”

Using the animals was where it was at.”

I did the same in The 7 Levels Of Hell.”

It seems it worked out very well.”

The twins said they would remember that lesson.

The animals were happy. They played fetch then.

So things settled back down to their routine.

If a monarchy, Anika would have been queen.

But, she was happy to just be a mother and wife.

A good way to live out the rest of her life.

If you were attuned, you would hear the screams.

Kronos never stopped, or so it seemed.

He had met his final fate.

Too insane with pain to even relate.

You would think others would learn.

Or, meet the same fate in return.

The Shadow’ was back home again.

He knew future battles, he would win.

He had Kronos wand to use in that hour.

When Kronos died, he inherited the power.

All the power of the wand was his now.

With his new knowledge, he would be foul.

Before long, the modern world will be made aware.

There is something that will give you a scare.

For he was the greatest Warlock today.

The only one. So, he will get his way.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Eight)

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Eight)

Kronos was thinking to himself.

Use the lance, don’t be a whelp.’

He knew he could win if she did.

If she didn’t,—- he’d flip his lid.

Anika dug deep within herself.

Pulled the last of her power off the shelf.

She tried a freezing spell on Kronos.

His shield blocked it, for the most.

He tried to lasso Anika with magic.

She rolled, he missed, it was tragic.

She was getting unsteady on her feet.

Kronos was also getting weak.

How much longer could they go on?

Any others would already be gone.

Flash and Stealth had closed the gap.

They were at Kronos’s back.

He had just started to cast a spell.

They attacked, and did it well.

They took Kronos down instantly.

So fast people could hardly see.

They were ripping him apart.

Kronos was screaming like a lark.

His wand had flew away when he was hit.

The Shadow’ saw and went after it.

He zapped over and grabbed the wand.

Then, instantly, he was gone.

Kronos had never felt such pain.

Worse than hell and demon’s flame.

He thrashed and screamed and then was still.

The panthers were successful in their kill.

Meanwhile, Anika collapsed. She was beaten.

She had no more. She couldn’t defeat him.

Next she knew, Sirle was picking her up.

Hugging her like a little pup.

You did it! Kronos is dead!”

˜What was that you said?”

The panthers ripped him apart.”

But, I saw the  ‘other’  fry them with a dart?”

The eagles warned them. They dodged in time.”

Those animals were all working overtime.”

The Shadow’ had zapped back to their Ireland Keep.

He had little time. He was fast on his feet.

He gathered up every single thing.

Put it all in a magical sling.

Grabbed it and zapped to 2017 to his lab.

He was back home at last and he was glad.

The eagles led the others to The Keep.

Too late. Nothing left. They destroyed The Keep.

On the grass where Kronos body lay,

A Pillar of Black Smoke and Fire rose up that day.

Two demons drug Kronos body into the Pillar.

It descended into the ground, leaving no filler.

In hell, Kronos was alive again.

The demons then spoke to him.

You think you outsmarted us when you escaped.”

We knew it was coming. It was your fate.”

We let you go just to see if you could win.”

But, you failed, as usual, so, never again.”

But now, for being so arrogant, you’ll suffer.”

It will be for eternity with no buffer.”

The worst pain you ever felt, was at your death.”

Being ripped apart by the panthers, I’ll bet.”

So, you will relive it over and over here in hell.”

You will die and come back, but, never be well.”

Over and over to pay for your sins.”

Which we can’t forgive, so it never ends.”

Are you prepared to meet your fate?”

Too bad if you’re not, because it’s too late.”

Kronos was instantly being ripped apart.

He was screaming out his heart.

So horrible was his final fate,

we won’t discuss it further. It’s just too late.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Seven)

Kronos Escapes From Hell (Chapter Seven)

There were a few skirmishes at hand.

Kronos still felt he ruled the land.

Then, Anika made a decision.

We will send a message out to him.

Tell him we will meet. Where and when.

One on one, just the two of us.”

I challenge you to a battle, or bust.”

She knew Kronos couldn’t turn it down.

His arrogance will bring him around.

Anika laid out her plan to all the others.

Many weren’t sure, and had their druthers.

Sirle, Siran, and Ansir were nervous.

But, they knew Anika’s word, they could trust.

Flash and Stealth were ready to go.

All four eagles were in the know.

Plans agreed on, they sent the request.

Kronos would get it, they were guessing.

In two days, just north of the city.

A broad grassy area. No trees. Not gritty.

Nothing to get in the way.

No interference during their stay.

The time was twelve noon.

That way there would be no moon.

Kronos darkened the sky a charcoal grey.

Blocked out the sun in every way.

He didn’t want Anika to have an advantage.

He was there and ready.—– Chanting.

Anika took her stance, about 50 feet away.

Someone yelled “Begin,” and it started that day.

Kronos fired a black/purple bolt out of his wand.

Anika fired a white/blue bolt from her wand.

The bolts hit head on, equal power. Bring it on.

The smell of burning electrical smell was strong.

Kronos tried a different spell.

Anika blocked it very well.

Anika tried to knock Kronos over.

His feet didn’t even slide on the clover.

On they fought, one spell after another.

Each spell blocked or countered with flutter.

Behind Kronos, Flash and Stealth crept up.

Quieter than a wilting buttercup.

The eagles were circling, watching for another.

Their eagle eyes could see any flutter.

They were super sensitive to magic when used.

If  ‘The Shadow’ appeared, they’d make it news.

Kronos used Worlock fire of his own.

Anika cancelled it with a lot of foam.

Kronos cast a black webbed net.

Anika rolled away and won the bet.

The Shadow’ appeared a distance behind Anika.

The eagles were on him immediately. Eureka!

For protection he had to erect a shield.

He couldn’t use magic then. It wouldn’t yield.

The Shadow’ saw the panthers getting close.

Shield down, he zapped away, like a ghost.

The eagles could follow his magical trail.

He appeared in the air behind the panthers tails.

The eagles told the panthers ‘roll to the side.’

Their telepathic message saved their lives.

A red bolt of power split the ground.

But, the panthers were nowhere around.

The eagles were all over ‘The Shadow’ again.

He zapped far away in the end.

Anika was finally beginning to tire.

Knonos had passed his limit, but he had fire.

His hatred and arrogance pushed him on.

Anika’s wand was the lance. To it, she was bond.

She thought to use it when she heard a voice.

Anethea said ‘Don’t use the lance.’

If you do, you won’t have a chance.’

That was how Kronos beat me before.’

He can somehow reverse it. You’ll be no more.’

Anika had heard the voice through the bond.

She didn’t know how much longer she could carry on.

Things were starting to look pretty dim.

Stay tuned and we will find out who will win.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Six)

     Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Six)

Kronos knew he had them running.

For his plan was very cunning.

He would pick them off, just like flowers.

He would make them shake, just like cowards.

With ‘The Shadow’ to help him out,

he would make them cry and shout.

Make them all beg for mercy.

Especially Anika. He would take her seat.

Weeks after their arrival on earth.

Kronos had become a curse.

He knew where every Wizard patrol was.

He would wipe them out, just because.

They decided on a different tactic.

They came up with something fantastic.

They sent out the panthers and eagles.

They would follow Kronos wherever he goes.

Once they spotted him, he wouldn’t know.

They telepathically relayed all.

Kronos could be headed for a fall.

Soon, they thought they had Kronos trapped.

They surrounded him where he was at.

They hit him with a hundred spells.

But, his shield held. They were mad as hell.

Kronos laughed, and ‘The Shadow’ appeared.

He distracted the Wizards, as he neared.

Kronos dropped his shield and zapped away.

The Shadow’ followed in his own way.

Who was that who distracted us?”

I couldn’t tell. He was like a shadow, thus,

I couldn’t really see him clearly.”

It is going to be hard to spot him early.”

Anika and the others had run out of ideas.

They feared Kronos would win if he sees us.

Despondent, and very forlorn, she seemed.

Then, a wand message from Vantera was seen.

All, return to Vantera now. Very important!’

All zapped home. Their earthly visit shortened.

We have make a great discovery.”

Vantera is passing through Bright Matter.”

It just started. What this means will shatter.”

Shatter all other discoveries by far.”

Bright Matter is who we are!!”

We get our magic from Bright Matter.”

We learned how to directly tap into it.”

You will be strong enough to give Kronos a fit.”

He must have tapped into Dark Matter, somehow.”

That is why he is unbeatable right now.”

But, with  the Bright Matter tapped directly,

you will all be strong as you can get, see.”

You should then be a match for Kronos.”

Be sure to use it wisely, before he knows.”

Each Wizard was filled to the max.

The most powerful were quite the catch.

They were glowing from the power within.

Now, where’s Kronos?,” Anika said with a grin.

All the Wizards zapped back to earth.

The trip to Vantera brought great worth.

A terrific battle was about to take place.

Don’t bet wrong on the winner in you’re haste.———R.W. Johnson—–(2017)

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Five)

  Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Five)

Over two months had passed.

The end of Kronos at last?

Then, suddenly, he was back again.

So fast that it made their heads spin.

Black lightening hit the Wizard patrol.

Turned them to ‘crispy critters,’ you know.

Then, like that, he was gone again.

Things were like he had never been.

Other Wizards mourned over their dead.

There was no time for anything to be said.

Word was sent to Vantera via wand.

Where Anika and her family had gone.

They immediately held a meeting.

The Power Of 12 were superseding.

Care MUST be used. He killed 6 Wizards.”

It was instant. He cooked their gizzards.”

Tremendous power. No time for a shield.”

He now has more power than we can wield.

It seems Anika, that he wants you.”

We need a plan. What can we do?”

Ideas were not coming in very fast.

He waited 2 months, then, ‘smash!'”

He seems to be goading us into action.”

It looks like a trap. That’s crap then.”

He is arrogant. His downfall will depend

on how we can use that against him.”

We don’t know how he escaped hell.”

Was he released, or was it a spell?”

He also seems to have more power.”

This is truly the bewitching hour.”

# 1, he can never catch us all together.”

He will have Anika bound in leathers.”

Ties she can’t break with any spell.”

Then, her life will be a living hell.”

He doesn’t know about the panthers or eagles.”

They can help us wherever we go.”

They are fast, hard to hit with a spell.”

They just might send him back to hell.”

I don’t think Kronos will be beaten that easily.”

But, we don’t intend to make it easy peasy.”

First, we’ll return to earth and get our bearings.”

Try to find out where Kronos’s Keep is there.”

Back on earth they made an exhaustive search.

No sign of Kronos anywhere on earth.

Could he have gone to an off world planet?

Somehow, Anika felt he wouldn’t plan it.

He has never tried to find out where we were.

She doubted that such a thought would occur.

Then, Kronos struck again.

Bringing a building down on some of them.

Shocked, they felt he must have had help.

Who could it be who would help that whelp?

6 more Wizards dead without warning.

There wasn’t any time for mourning.

More is coming down the road.

It is bound to turn your blood cold.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Four)

        Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Four)

Every battle fit wizard zapped to The Keep.

They hoped it was enough to get a defeat.

If it was Kronos, his Black Arts were powerful.

He had strong magic and a determined will.

For two months they searched everywhere.

No sign of Kronos or magic anywhere.

They were mystified as to what to do.

Half returned to Vantera, the rest were true.

True in their determination to wait out Kronos.

The others would return once he shows.

Kronos and ‘The Shadow’ procrastinated.

All possibilities checked and eliminated.

Kronos waited on purpose.

He knew he could perturb, thus.

Kronos said “The Black Magic felt a hair weaker.”

The Shadow’ talked about the black matter feature.

Kronos said “I thought  you got around that?”

No, I built a way to tap into black matter in space.”

Kronos decided he needed this in this place.

They zapped to the future and retrieved The Cowl.

They would figure how to bring it back somehow.

This Cowl , ‘The Shadow’ used to tap dark matter.

They brought it back to Kronos time, like attar.

Once back they tapped into dark matter in space.

The Shadow’ located the most concentrated place.

He zeroed in on the heart of it.

Sucked out the magic they could get.

Such tremendous power, even Kronos hadn’t felt.

He sucked it all in up under his belt.

The Shadow’ did the same.

They were now ready to continue their game.

They had all the Black Magic they could hold.

The end of the story would soon be told.

Kronos ignited a couple things by accident.

Too much power. It wasn’t what he meant.

With practice, they both got it under control.

The Shadow’ thought it was good to know.

Kronos knew what he would now do.

Back when he hit Anethea with the goo.

He injured her through her lance.

Reversed the power. She had no chance.

Anika had a lance too. The same lance??

If she did, she would be dead meat.

If she tried to use it when they meet.

Kronos had other plans in the works.

He went over them, working out the quirks.

The Shadow’ helped all he could.

Kronos liked his ideas, like he should.

The midnight hour was drawing near.

Kronos knew he had nothing to fear.

The Wizards couldn’t match his power now.

Thanks to the magic of The Cowl.

Things were beginning to look pretty dim.

Stay tuned in to see who will win.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Three)

         Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Three)

The High Seer had a disturbing vision.

He saw a whole city block obliterated, like fission.

He knew The Black Arts were used here.

It had just happened on earth. That was clear.

Then, a message from earth arrived via wand.

It said what the vision showed. It was no con.

The Power Of 12 were notified.

Oh no,” they said, as they rolled their eyes.

They picked Anika and her family to go.

Go to earth and see what is the show.

Once ready, they all zapped to The Keep.

The old mansion on earth. It was sweet.

Maintained and hidden by strong magic.

The earthly headquarters they called The keep.

Once there, they made sure all was fine.

Then they zapped to the location of the crime.

Everything in a square block was obliterated.

It was almost like it had been incinerated.

Who could have done this?” they wondered.

Its been quiet for 18 years, since Black Thunder.”

Black Thunder is how Kronos’s last war was known.

No one else has such power we were shown.”

He is in hell. There is no escape from there.”

Suddenly, they all felt that jolt of ‘beware.’

A whirlwind started all around them.

They all erected a shield of protection.

Sand, dirt, debris, etc. turned the day dark.

Creatures flew by, scarlet in color, making an arc.

Indescribable critters trying to breach the shield.

Disembodied nightmares. The shield would soon yield.

The roar of the wind was near deafening.

They communicated mentally to plan their reckoning.

Our shield will soon fail, we’ll become captives.’

We can still go down.’ The twins said without lapses.

They said “Excavatius,” and a hole with stairs appeared.

Sirle said ‘Direct it that way.’ Pointing as he leered.

Shortly, the tunnel broke into an underground room.

The church catechism, where bodies were entombed.

They hurried down into the tunnel.

They closed the opening with a big rock bundle.

Their wands produced plenty of light.

They found their way out, though it was tight.

They put on invisibility, then flew into the air.

They started a search for whoever was there.

Kronos!!’ Anika mentally yelled.

She pointed where Kronos projected black spells.

He was creating the whirlwind and critters.

Back to The Keep before the shield quivers.’

Soon after, it will fail.’

We must be gone before he follows our trail.’

They all zapped back to The Keep instantly.

Kronos focused more for increased intensity.

He felt it when the shield failed.

He moved in to catch his quail.

The Shadow’ moved in from the other side.

They both worked the spell to trap those inside.

There was nothing where the shield stood.

Kronos was not looking very good.

“It should have been impossible to escape.”

˜We have to regroup and plan their fate.”

They zapped home to their underground keep.

Anika and all were shocked after the retreat.

They immediately got in wand communication.

They contacted Vantera with the information.

Kronos was back and had to be stopped.

Everyone on Vantera was in shock.

They immediately started making plans.

Anika said “Come to earth as soon as you can.”

Something big and terrible was on the rise.

Be ready for it. Don’t hide your eyes.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Two)

             Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter Two)

It had been 18 years since Anika and Sirle married.

They still lived on Vantera, the name it carried.

Anika gave birth to a set of male twins the first year.

Named Siran and Ansir, identical, they were.

They were powerful magicians and warriors.

Trained from birth, they excelled for sure.

They were as good, or better, than their parents.

Not taking time to think, being their worst errant.

They would mature and outgrow that.

They would be the greatest. It was a fact.

They knew all the history of Kronos and others.

They wished they could have fought him as brothers.

They could communicate with animals telepathically.

As well as each other and parents. It was a fact, you see.

They grew up with two black panthers.

Flash and Stealth, big and worse than cancer.

Offspring’s of Eros and Ra, who were old now.

They were also raised with eagles, wow.

They were the four offspring of Pern.

Watching them work made Anika’s heart yearn.

The panthers, twins, and eagles were deadly.

Always alert. Always ready.

Add Anika and Sirle to the group.

They were one deadly fighting troupe.

Sirle found that he was a telepath also.

At any time they were ready to go.

They had taken the boys to earth.

Showed them around the old hearth.

They had made the trip often.

Showed them where they fought to win.

Even showed them Kronos’s ruined castle.

Such a mess made walking around a hassle.

Kronos had become a legend now.

Almost ancient history somehow.

But, all of that was about to change.

Soon as Kronos had his plans arranged.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter One)

         Kronos Escapes Hell (Chapter One)

Kronos appeared in front of his ruined castle.

He had made it back to his time with no hassle.

He threw stones aside using Black Magic.

If his books were ruined, it would be tragic.

A powerful spell protected the hidden room.

He would locate it real soon.

Not all his books had he brought to the cave.

The one now nonexistent, to his dismay.

A demon destroyed it when he was taken.

Kronos had learned his lesson, no mistaking.

He located the protected room in the castle.

Moved all books out by magic, without hassle.

He looked up a spell to detect magical spots.

The strongest, now known as Ireland, was hot.

Kronos traveled there. It took him 2 months.

Once there, he could zap back at once.

He found an underground dwelling.

Made it his base. There was no yelling.

Just remodeling, done by magic power.

Protected by many spells for the hour.

All books and anything else he needed.

He brought there, then he proceeded.

He connected to ‘The Shadow’ through time.

Transferred him there by just his mind.

The Shadow’ was shaken up at first.

Kronos said: “This is not a curse.”

I have brought you here to be my acolyte.”

Kronos told him all, to ‘The Shadow’s’ delight.

Kronos told him his entire life’s story.

You look so young.”  “What glory!”

Before I got dragged to hell,

I made a powerful spell that would dwell

In the Black Magical rift.”

To remain until a day like this.”

That ball of energy you opened was it.”

I knew, someday, somebody would be fit.”

Fit to bring me back from hell or the grave.”

So, you’re my acolyte, not a slave.”

We must go to work. I have a lot to teach you.”

Black Magic will speed up your lessons too.”

You will learn very rapidly without problem.”

You’ll face problems and you’ll solve them.”

With my help, it will be a snap.”

You won’t get caught in any trap.”

Kronos taught him all he knew.

Then, Kronos laid out what they would do.

Kronos had eons to make his plans.

His power had quadrupled throughout the land.

It was what sustained him while in hell.

Anika was done. That much he could tell.

Kronos Escapes Hell (Preface)

     Kronos escapes Hell (Preface)

The person known as  ‘The Shadow,’

Is about to make the world rattle.

He is leaning toward Black Magic.

He notices something odd, maybe tragic.

A tight knit ball of energy.

Black Magic generated, he could see.

This is very odd, he thought to himself.

Greater power was here, he felt.

He had to break it open somehow.

He’d been working for days, till now.

He felt something start to give.

This might give him power to live.

Suddenly, the whole room was engulfed,

A tremendous power was loose, he felt.

Then, a man appeared from nowhere.

A Warlock, from the clothes he did wear.

He looked like he was from an ancient time.

His cold black eyes stared into mine.

I was frozen to the spot with his gaze.

Where am I?” he said through the haze.

2017, you are in my lab.”

You are a Warlock then?” He said.

Magic was non-existent for eons.”  “Instead,

I learned how to tap into it again.”

You can then send me back to when.”

Who are you?” The Shadow  whined.

I am Kronos, the greatest Warlock of all time.”

I was defeated by Anika, a whimpy Wizard.”

I was sent to hell by demons.” “They delivered.”

I created a Black Magic link for this.”

You brought me here when you did persist.”

Now, I will tell you how to send me back.”

Revenge calls. I must put Anika on the rack.”

“Give her a taste of hell.”

Once she is dead, all will be well.”

I might bring you back as my assistant.”

An acolyte.” “I owe you for being persistent.”

The Shadow was cowering in the corner.

Kronos drew him out and said: “I scorn her.”

You will help me to return to my past.”

Kronos told him all to do. Then, at last,

A column of Black Fire appeared.

Kronos walked in and he disappeared.

The fire went out and The Shadow shook.

Such power, and Kronos didn’t use a book.

The Shadow determined to become his acolyte.

To control such power would be a fright.

But, he felt he was up to the task.

He would wait till Kronos returned, at last.

Until then, he would learn all he could on his own.

What happened next will chill you to the bone.
