The Greatest Love

The Greatest Love

You’ve been burned many times in the past.

You vowed the last time would be your last.

Men no longer rate high on your list.

You say anything is better than this.

I know someone who is worthy.

He is a man who won’t do you dirty.

His name is Jesus. Give Him a chance.

Let it be the start of a real romance.

Fall in love with Him like you have no man.

Give Him a chance. Just hold His hand.

Get to know Him like you knew no other.

Make Him more than a friend or a lover.

Trust Him with all. Even your life.

You will find He is worth the fight.

He will never let you down.

He will always be around.

Worship Him. He is your Lord & creator.

Surrender to Him now rather than later.

Love Him like you’ll never love another.

Love Him more than Father or Mother.

Don’t ever love them any less.

But, put God first. It is for the best.

A love relationship is what He wants.

Love Him completely despite the taunts.

He will bless you in ways you’ve never known.

He longs to give you all you’ve been shown.

To do anything to hurt Him would break your

heart. You will only do what He’s looking for.

You will sacrifice anything for Him.

You would even die for Him.

Such a relationship will be agape love.

Only God can give such love.

But, you’ll enjoy all it entails.

Nothing compares. Everything else pales.

You will have the promise of everlasting life.

Everlasting love without any strife.

How could anyone ask for more.

Ash In The Wind

Time is short. Save your soul.

Before you become like burning coal.

The creator God up above

can save you with His love.

You can run, but, you can’t hide.

Repent now for every lie.

Every sin that ever was.

Accept the love from God above.

We are only ash in the wind.

The justified end for a life of sin.

Every root and branch burned from within

We are only ash in the wind.

Look around you. You will see.

Things are ending. You can’t flee.

Time to get your life in order.

REPENT NOW!!! That’s an order.

Save yourself while you can.

Or end up in the frying pan.

You will burn till all is gone.

Sin is not allowed to go on.

We are only ash in the wind.

Things are the same. It’s not hotter.

You will be shocked how fast

end things happen to change your past.

Before you know it it’s too late.

Truthful Lies

Sometimes I wonder,

as I gaze into your eyes.

Could you be thinking

that my heart is full of lies?

You seem to doubt me

when I’m whispering to you

my inner feelings

that are only just for you.

Sometimes I blunder,

but, I am not telling lies.

Still, you’re not believing.

I can tell it in your eyes.

I want to tell you

what I’m feeling deep inside.

It’s overwhelming,

as I lay there by your side.

I say “I love you.”

You say you don’t think so.

I ask you “Why?”

You say I ought to know.

Why must it always

be the same old show?

I say “I love you.”

But, you don’t think so.

Sometimes like thunder

passion beats within my thighs.

I try to fool you.

But, I wear a thin disguise.

My feeble efforts

quickly make me realize.

A woman’s needs

Are much different than a guy’s.

Sometimes I wonder,

as I gaze into your eyes.

What is your meaning

when you say that I’m not wise?

I try to tell you,

but, it never comes out right.

It always seems

such efforts start a fight.

I say “I love you.”

You say you don’t think so.

I ask you “Why?”

You say I ought to know.

Why must it always

be the same old show?

Night Trippin

Night Trippin

On one side is the darkness.

On the other is the light.

In the middle is the tightrope

Where humans walk day and night.

I want to walk in the light.

Save the darkness for the lonely nights.

Treading this tightrope doesn’t make it right.

But, I want to make it through the night.

The darkness is evil, envy, and strife.

It makes you want to reject the light.

The light is love, kindness, and bliss.

You can never get enough of this.

I want to walk only in the light.

Space Exploration

Space Exploration

Sitting here thinking one afternoon.

Why do men want to go to the moon?

Is it the mystery of the big unknown?

That’s how space, the final frontier, is shown.

If man one day reaches the stars.

Will he find out who we really are?

Will he find from where we came?

Will there be others who look the same?

Chances are the answer is no.

The further into space we go

the more we will find questions unanswered.

The more questions that are answered

leads to more questions that then arise.

In the end we may be surprised.

The answers were here all along.

In simple form like they belong.

Look in the Bible and then believe.

Faith will then give you all you need.

The wonders of creation can boggle the mind.

But, the answers have been there all the time.

We can spend eternity exploring it all.

By believing we have been saved from the fall.

God will give you a new heart & eternal life.

Then you’ll have eternity to see all the sights.

That is something worth striving for.

Is God knocking on your door??

Missing Someone You Don’t Even Know

Missing Someone You Don’t Even Know

I been feeling kinda funny all day.

I feel like I have something to say.

Yet, there is no one here to talk to.

So I just ignore it like I usually do.

I often dream of the perfect girl.

Someone who always gives me a thrill.

I dream she is always here with me.

It seems so real, I want her to be.

Then I realize what is happening with me.

How can you miss someone you don’t even know?

Someone you haven’t had a chance to see.

Someone I hope to meet at a future time

A girl who will end my loneliness & set me free.

But, she is just a product of my mind.

Still, I miss her down to my very soul.

Will the day come when she will be a part of me?

I have lived alone for a number of years.

I’ve dated a lot of girls, remembering through my tears.

Nothing would last. They were slip sliding away.

I often found myself on my knees to pray.

I would pray and dream of the perfect girl.

One that would give my heart a whirl.

A girl who loved to have fun together.

Yet, would stick with me through any weather.

Then I realized what was happening to me.

How can you miss someone you don’t even know?

Someone you haven’t had a chance to see.

Someone I hope to meet at a future time.

A girl who will end my loneliness & set me free.

But, she is just a product of my mind.

Still, I miss her down to my very soul.

Will the day come when she will be a part of me??

I go about my usual evening at home.

Have dinner, watch a little TV, eat a scone.

Sometimes I will hear the phone ring.

A friend, a solicitor, or some other thing.

Then I am thinking about her once again.

I miss her more than a real close friend.

Living without her is no life at all.

Yet, in my mind she is at my call.

Then I realize what is happening to me.

How can you miss someone you don’t even know?

Someone you haven’t had a chance to see.

someone I hope to meet at a future time.

A girl who will end my loneliness & set me free.

But, she is just a product of my mind.

Three Little Pigs!!

Three Little Pigs!!

Have you heard the story of 3 little pigs?

One built his house out of twigs.

Another one simply used straw.

The 3^rd pig was smartest of all.

He built his house out of bricks.

He built it way out in the sticks.

When the wolf finally got to his house

he was so winded he couldn’t shout.

He had blown over the other 2 pigs houses.

They both ran like little scared mouses.

I mean mice but, they ran like hell.

They outran the wolf as well.

They ran to their brothers’ house.

They started pleading like a mouse.

Let us in. The wolf is coming.

He let them in & said “ I’m not running.”

The wolf tried to blow down this house too.

He huffed and puffed till he was blue.

But, he could not blow the house down.

He said “I’ve had it” and he left town.

The wolf was never heard from again.

The pigs yelled “Hooray for them!!.”

The moral of this story is very simple.

I will give you a little hint though.

Pigs that can talk and build houses

Victory!!!

Victory!!!

He stood at the gate to the garden.

A flaming sword was in his hand.

None shall pass beyond this gate.

That was HIS final command.

Many there was who came too late.

Those words causing hearts to harden.

Within the garden was beauty and life.

All wanted to enter and partake.

But, also there was all knowledge.

Making evil possible to create.

This would produce a learning college.

Perpetuating all the evil and strife.

The angel stood his place for eons of time.

Keeping out all who tried to enter.

The flaming sword would stop them all.

They longed to reach the tree in the center.

The tree of life that would save them all.

They plotted a way to achieve this crime.

Then, God wisely removed the garden.

The people were enraged.

They cursed God and called Him heartless.

They were condemned to the grave.

They didn’t want a part of this.

They wanted God to give a pardon.

God sad you must live with the curse.

From Adam you have a sinful nature.

Passed on from generation to generation.

To get a pardon has no place here.

But, I am a God you can have faith in.

I’ll provide a way to lift the curse.

I will send my only Son to take your place.

He will take upon Him all your sins.

He will live a sinless life, yet will die.

He will die to pay the price for sin.

For He loves you is the reason why.

But, death will not hold Him. You are safe.

He will raise again and claim victory over death.

All you need to do is believe in Him.

Know Him intimately and invite Him in.

He will make your heart a home for Him.

He will lead you to victory over sin.

Then you too will have victory over death.

Bad Night

Bad Night

We were out just nosing around.

We thought we might have seen a sound.

Two dimensional beings in a fight.

Flattened starlight lit up the night.

Then sun drops fell all around.

Our clothes were dripping with the sound.

We oozed along back to our hole.

We were flying as fast as we could go.

Then we heard TV for awhile.

All the racket made us smile.

It was early so time to stand.

And dream about another land.

I dreamed of a place really bizarre.

To get around I used a car.

People jogged for exercise.

Let me say; I was really surprised.

It was almost like a scary daymare

But, by then, I didn’t care.

Then I awoke, my body all sweaty.

Almost work time. Got to get ready.

So I dragged myself up and said.

“I will never eat pizza again right before bed.”

Keeping The Faith

Keeping The Faith

I often prayed for a change I could see.

First of all, start with a change in me.

Gradually, I noticed a change in my attitude.

Which was followed by my sincere gratitude.

God works in ways that are hard to believe.

He knows the answer before it’s received.

All things work to the glory of God.

To those who believe. This is not odd.

Hard times come but, God is there.

Of all your hardships, He is aware.

Keep the faith and you will see.

God wants the best for you and me.

Doors will open to raise you up.

Put you on top and fill your cup.

Like Job of Bible times, he kept his faith.

In the end double was given for him to take.

The same can happen for you and me.

Just keep your faith and you will see.

God is in control of everything.

He will lift you up on angels wings.

Put you on top where you belong.

Live your life for God who is never wrong.

In the end you’ll end up strong.

Even though now the future looks bleak.

God is still in the driver’s seat.

Don’t let Satan fill you with negative thoughts.

The battle for ruler has already been fought.

Satan lost that day at the cross.

We know for sure Jesus is the boss.

Have faith and God’s happiness will fill you.

The fight is done. Our worries are through.
