The Sex Diet

The Sex Diet

I was hungry all the time.
Not for food, but to make you mine.
I craved you more than a hot fudge Sunday.
I could eat you up. You’re just as yummy.

Then things changed. We got together.
I thought things would be better.
I had all of you I wanted.
Seconds and thirds. I wasn’t taunted.

Time went by, like it always does.
I wasn’t so happy. Just because.
Have you ever bit off more than you could chew?
I think that happened with me and you.

We both needed to go on a diet.
So we abstained. Just try it.
On rare occasions we gave in.
Just a little. It wasn’t a sin.

Let me tell you, it was out of this world.
Absence made our desires whirl.
We reached levels of ecstasy we couldn’t believe.
Such pleasure is hard to achieve.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
We found this true. We didn’t flounder.
Now we diet with anticipation.
For the occasional slip, or vacation.

Our ‘diet’ has motivated us.
We are closer than dirt is to dust.
We recommend it to others, if it fits.
But, never, never call it quits.

What Is The Answer?

What Is The Answer?

Are you a person who lives in the past?
Are you interested in ‘old things’ that last?
Do you imitate the lifestyle back then?
Do you wish you could relive it again?

Or are you one who knows what future means?
Do you live with tomorrow’s dreams?
Do you wish you were born a little later?
Do you think tomorrow there will be no haters?

Or do you live and thrive in the here and now?
Do you manage to live a day at a time, somehow?
Yesterday is a goodbye, tomorrow isn’t here.
All is the here and now; that you make very clear.

Whichever way you tend to be.
Will it make a difference between you and me?
Can we still be, as one, together?
Can we cling to one another, whatever the weather?

Does time and place rule over all?
Is that the announcement before the fall?
Or is it ‘whatever will be will be?’
You are still you and I am me.

Words Of Wisdom From Uncle John

Words Of Wisdom From Uncle John

I looked around and you were gone.
I had no idea what came over you?
Its happened before, I thought with a yawn.
I always figured you couldn’t be true.

And then along came Uncle John.
He said: “Why is she gone?”
I told him I didn’t have a clue.
He said: “That’s because you are a fool.”

Sometime later, I met another.
She was sweeter than apple pie.
She wanted me to meet her mother.
I turned her down because I was shy.

And then along came Uncle John.
He said: “Why has she gone?”
I told him I didn’t have a clue.
He said: “That’s because you are a fool.”

I tried after that, but couldn’t score.
Things just never went my way.
They seemed to know what I was looking for.
Yet, not one of them would ever stay.

And then along came Uncle John.
He said: “Hasn’t one come along?”
I said I didn’t have a magic wand.
He said: “ It’s because you are a ding dong!!”

Why?

Why?

I knew you when
you were a girl all alone without love.
I took you in.
I wooed you , & showered you with love.
We had a love.
A love like no other that I had known.
Sent from above.
It was wondrous, & lovely. Had I known,
It would end.
When someone much better came along.
So why pretend.
It seemed right, but it was so wrong.
I’m all alone.
Alone in a world without love.
I wish I’d known.
It would end with you killing the dove.
What can I do?
I feel shattered beyond all repair.
If I had you.
I would no longer be in such despair.
I have to go.
My collar turned up against the wind.
I feel so low.
I feel I will never love again.
You will never know
That I miss you more than I can bare.
It is time for me to go.
My life is over. It’s not going anywhere.

All Of The Time

All Of The Time

When I first decided you were the one.
I knew I’d made the right choice for life.
You’ve often kept me from becoming undone.
You have been my guiding light.

You’ve kept me from the stupid things I do.
You’ve guided me to the right path.
Without you with me to see it through.
My life would be a great big laugh.

From the very beginning,
its been you, sweetheart, all of the time.

I have come to depend on you.
You’ve been there in my darkest hours.
You have helped me to see it through.
I’m glad this kind of love is ours.

This is my way of telling you every day.
You are the one who made me who I am.
Without you there would be no other way.
Without you I wouldn’t be the man.

Its been your wisdom that has guided us.
I cannot make it on my own.
There is no one else that I would trust.
I belong with you, it has been shown.

From the beginning,
its been you, sweetheart, all of the time.

A Short Look At Health

A Short Look At Health

I decided it is time to get healthy.
So I did a bunch of research to see.
I found I needed moderate exercise.
7-8 hours of sleep before I arise.
Major changes to my eating habits.
I would have to eat more like a rabbit.
If it came from God, it is okay.
If processed, discard, without delay.
Eat only grass fed dairy products.
Go organic is part of the process.
Most meats are perfectly fine.
Always keep ‘grass fed’ in mind.
Eggs from ‘free range’ chickens.
Wrong oil is worse than the dickens.
No trans fat. No vegetable oil.
Nothing rancid or that will spoil.
Coconut, olive, macadamia nut oils.
All are good. Less likely to spoil.
Forbid wheat, gluten, or grains.
They will cause you Arthritic pain.
Not to mention celiac disease.
Play it safe, if you please.
Avoid all types of sugar at all cost.
Use of honey or Stevia is not lost.
Artificial sweeteners are not worth it.
Don’t take the chance. Don’t take the risk.
Look into all of this on your own.
In time, your knowledge will have grown.
You will see the wisdom in all this.
Then do likewise. Start feeling really fit.

When Man Plays God

When Man Plays God

Let’s talk about something new.
You have heard of the common flu.
But, have you heard of flu from hell?
Made in a lab by—–I won’t tell.

Stephen King’s “The Stand” is here.
There is much for us to fear.
It will spread like wild fire.
Destroying all. I’m not a liar

It could be released at any time.
Rapidly killing what’s yours & mine.
One percent may be immune.
If you’re lucky, or on the moon.

It won’t be a pleasant way to go.
It will be fast, at least. Not slow.
Very painful, to say the least.
No protection from ‘the beast.’

Is this what the world is coming to?
I would take action, if I were you.
Do all you can to prevent such a thing.
Make people aware of what it can bring.

Don’t let man destroy himself.
By an act of stupidity. What else?
When man plays God the result is bad.
The end result is always sad.

It’s true. Pride goes before a fall.
Man is the proudest race of all.
But, there is limits to what man can do.
The end result will be the end of you.

Mother Earth Cries For Help

Mother Earth Cries For Help

The 6th extinction is now upon us.
Many species have turned to dust.
They say man is the major cause.
He has broken all of nature’s laws.

Pollution in almost every form.
It has destroyed, as nature mourns.
Genetic manipulation of nature’s ways.
It’s bound to send you to an early grave.

Too many humans. No room for all.
First, the lesser species take the fall.
Rape Mother Earth and pay the price.
You will see—– it just isn’t nice.

As a species, man’s days are numbered.
How will it end? Has anyone wondered?
Can anything be done to stop it all?
Or, is man heading for his final fall?

Sit back and give it some thought.
What has your actions wrought?
Is there anything that you can do?
Then , get others to do the same too.

Grief—–God Is The Answer

Grief—-God Is The Answer

Like tears of glass, tinkling when they land,
these tears of grief are not so grand.
The pain that is left in my heart
Is worse than the pain of being apart.
Knowing I will never be with you again.
One is the loneliest #. How to begin?
To start over is a mountain too high.
All it does is make me want to cry.
I have to dream the impossible dream.
But, I only dream of you,—– it seems.
They say time heals all wounds.
Have they ever lost someone too soon?
All our future plans & dreams are gone.
Taken away with the morning dawn.
Taken when the angels came for you.
Now,—– whatever will I do?
All the songs of sorrow and loss
come slaming home. The feeling not lost.
Death leaves you nowhere to turn.
Take it to heart. Live and learn.
Faith in religious beliefs is the only hope.
Without it, I might as well cut my throat.
I know you are in a better place now.
No more suffering & pain creasing your brow.
I am hurting, but I will give it to the Lord.
No way am I joining the angry hoard.
Those who think all they have is here & now.
They might as well worship the golden cow.
There is no ‘real’ love found in that belief.
But, in the love of God I find relief.
I will keep the faith & be with you again.
My sweetheart, my lover, my friend.

Being The Man

Being The Man

A time comes in every life
when it’s time to put away the strife.
Time to knuckle down and under.
Have your fun without the plunder.
Be a respectful citizen.
Do whatever it takes to win.
But, in a way that is fair to all.
Don’t be a tyrant before the fall.
In the end, it comes back to you.
You will be respected too.
You will be a giant in the community.
This is good. It is not lunacy.
Strive to be a man among men.
You will always be remembered then.
Your legacy will be very great.
Though, your glory may come too late.
You won’t be a black mark in history.
But, someone who all will want to be.
Take pride in all that you do.
I know, it won’t mean much to you.
But, many others will benefit.
Others, who will copy your wit.
They will make their marks too.
And it all will have started with you.
