The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 4)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 4)

Kronos and Ikurea finally had their army trained.

They would enslave the Normals, he explained.

They were not to be nice about it.

“Are they better than insects? I doubt it.”

The Warlocks swept over the land.

Raising havoc with almost every man.

They enslaved the Normals, or made them run.

Made some cluck like a chicken, just for fun.

Some were killed in various ways.

The Warlocks laughed, enjoying their slaves.

Soon, the Normals cried for help.

Their united plea was felt.

The High Seer of the Wizards picked up their cry.

He told the Power Of 12 the reason way.

They were shocked to hear the news.

They told Anika and added their views.

All the Wizards were gathered together.

They planned a trip to earth for the better.

Once ‘home,’ they would make plans.

First, they would find out all they can.

They all zapped ‘home.’ A quick trip.

Their ‘home’ on earth was well hidden by a fix.

Magic kept it invisible to all.

An impenetrable shield to prevent a fall.

Once all were there, they send out teams.

Invisible and not detected by smell, it seems.

They reported back the horrible state of affairs.

Kronos still ‘alive’, was too much to bare.

They thought he died after the first Magician’s War.

He survived 800+ years and the second war??

Dark magic must be keeping him alive.

His hatred must be giving him his drive.

He had to be stopped, that much was clear.

They all looked to Anika, for which she feared.

“I tried to strip one Warlock of his magic.”

“It had no effect. It was tragic.”

“Somehow they have learned to overcome it.”

“We must beat them, but it will take a good trick.”

“If we fight them one on one, they will win.’

“We cannot kill another, like them.”

“Does anyone have any ideas?”

“Some sort of plan that will help to free us?”

The chief Herbal Wizard had a plan.

To hear what it is, come back, if you can.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 3)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 3)

Anika was enjoying the sunny day.

She had been perfecting her skills today.

She was excellent with the longbow.

The arrows flew where she wanted them to go.

Her accuracy was mostly one hundred percent.

Her bow went with her where ever she went.

She was becoming a Chakram expert winner.

A circular metal disk, razor sharp, open center.

About 12” diameter. It would return when thrown.

She was by far the best with it, it was shown.

She was a formidable warrior all around.

Besides being a sorceress that knew no bounds.

She stood about 6 feet tall. Long blonde hair

and a figure that would make men stare.

She was known as The Great Deceiver.

Anyone who knew her history would believe her.

She could ‘deceive’ the soul to reject magic.

She stripped every Warlock of their magic.

No one had ever seen such incredible power before.

She gave God the credit. She was modest to the core.

This took place in the second Magician’s War.

Hopefully, she ended it forever more.

Little did she, or the other Wizards know

that Kronos was alive and would revive the show.

They all lived in the 8th parallel universe from earth.

Kronos never knew where they all went. He cursed.

But, he knew he could draw them all back.

Once he started treating Normals like they were rats.

This was a major part of his plan.

To win back his empire as fast as he can.

To do so, the Wizards must be exterminated.

They stood for God and good. The Normals were elated.

Kronos didn’t believe in God. Just his Black Arts.

He wanted only to rip the ‘good ones’ apart.

Soon, his army would be trained.

Then, nothing else need be explained.

His actions would speak for themselves.

A future tale, of which we cannot now dwell.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 2)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 2)

Kronos found the rare herbs needed in her garden.

She helped him gather. They left the yard then.

They both zapped back to his cozy cave.

Ikurea brought her books along in case.

She dabbled in The Black Arts, but her approach

was through nature. Not like her  host.

Kronos gave little thought to nature.

His approach was evil. Kindness had no place here.

Though, while reviewing some of her spells,

he found a lot that made his pride in her swell.

He told her in depth of his plan.

“I want to smash Anika, if I can.”

“That’s where you will come into play.”

“You are a woman in every way.”

“You will think like her. That will help.”

“In the end, we will crush the whelp.”

“First, I must build my demon army.”

“Help me to prepare. It won’t be charming.”

He had a nasty brew boiling in a caldron.

He added the rare herbs. He was ready to call him.

He recited a few lines of black magic.

Black Fire appeared. It looked tragic.

Then, a monstrous demon appeared in the flame.

It was hideous enough to put anything to shame.

In a rumbling voice it spoke: “You dare to call me here?”

The two of them stood trembling with fear.

“You dare to think you can control us?”

“Yes, I know your plans. It is like puss.”

“You cannot control an army of demons.”

“It is a major joke between us.”

“However, you’re final plans appeals to us.”

“We will give you an army without a fuss.”

“It will consist of all your formal men still alive.”

“We will bring their magic back  to their hide.”

“Then, we will bring all latent Normals here.”

“We will activate their magic with power to fear.”

“All will need training from you.”

“We know this you can quickly do.”

“I have a book of spells I will allow you to use.”

“It will give you and your army power to choose.”

“You choose us and victory will be yours.”

“Along with all else in the book can occur.”

“Bow down and pledge your allegiance. NOW!!”

Kronos and Ikurea shakily got on their knees to bow.

Kronos was humiliated. He bowed to no man.

But, this was a demon. He would get all he can.

They pledged allegiance and the demon  disappeared.

The promised book, on the floor, appeared.

Kronos and Ikurea picked it up with reverence.

They chuckled. in their minds, they made severance.

Neither would consciously serve a demon directly.

They thought they handled it all effectively.

Soon, his old Warlocks started popping in..

Then, the Normals selected, popped in.

Kronos and Ikurea had work to do.

But, first, all new ones declared their allegiance too.

Now, the real fun begins.

In the next chapter, they get ready for revenge.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 1)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 1)

Kronos needed a secret place to work.

The fact he was alive wasn’t a quirk.

At the bottom of a gorge, was a cave.

“It would work fine,” he did rave.

He used magic to make it bigger.

He hid the entrance and added a trigger.

The place was protected with a powerful spell.

He knew it would protect him very well.

He gathered his potions and other things.

Most of his books, he did bring.

There were a couple herbs that were rare.

He would have to bring them there.

But, first, he had to locate where they grew.

Then collect them at night. He was no fool.

Finally, after much time had passed.

He was ready to start his task.

He had a plan to win back his empire.

To do so, he would create the Black Fire.

He felt he could bring forth demons.

Control them and their feelings.

It would be a dangerous task.

He had the spells. He had the brass.

He was ready to put it to the test.

Then he thought of all the rest.

It would be better to find his queen first.

One who would share his blood lust thirst.

He knew of a sorceress way out back.

A witch of The Black Arts, at that.

She knew of him, but they never met.

He was ready. All was set.

He would swoon her with his charms.

He would hold her in his arms.

He would use her to perfect his plans.

As his queen, she would share the land.

He zapped himself to her hidden cottage.

Surrounded by herbs and other pottage.

He rapped on the door and waited.

She answered the door and hesitated.

She knew who he was at first sight.

“Kronos, I thought you were dead.”

“You can’t believe all that is said.”

“Obviously,—- why are you here?”

“I have a proposal I want to make clear.”

He laid out his plans to her.

She was quite interested, for sure.

Yet, what part would she play?

“You’ll be my queen, then, on the big day.”

“You’ll get half of my empire’s land”
“Providing you help me with my plan.”

She agreed with a vicious smile.

They signed in blood to last awhile.

What came next is another story.

Some of it is pretty gory.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Preface)

    The Revenge Of Kronos (Preface)

Kronos was the leader of the Warlocks.

He had ruled since time forgot.

The Magician’s War was won by him.

The Wizards banished on a whim.

800 years later they snuck back.

Led by Anika, the dirty rat.

She took magic away from all.

That’s what caused his empire to fall.

He alone escaped the devastation.

Until the day his empire would awaken.

Through The Black Arts his life was long.

Extended so he could forever belong.

He knew spells the world has never seen.

He would use them to find his queen.

An army of demons, he would forge.

In his cavern down in the gorge.

He would be ready for Anika’s return.

He would squash her like a worm.

Good could never conquer evil.

We will conquer wherever we go.

The Normals would again be under his thumb.

There is no place that they can run.

If they think they had it bad before,

just wait till I begin my war.

So, the day was rapidly approaching soon.

When Kronos would raise hell with his goons.

It is a story that will take much to tell.

Worse than going through The 7 Levels Of  Hell.

Ghost One. Humans None.

     Ghost One. Humans None.

Something real funny is going on.

I left it right here, now it’s gone.

No one was here to take it away.

I haven’t gone anywhere all day.

It’s happened before. Stuff moved about.

Made me so mad, I wanted to shout.

Friends say it’s a ghost. A soul lost.

Ain’t no wraith gonna run me off.

I hear strange noises in the night.

Like chains rattling, or a clanging pipe.

Strange smells, like rotting mildew.

Or rotting meat, to name a few.

Then, I saw a shadow covered in slime.

It said: “You be gone by tomorrow this time.”

I said: “No, I won’t go. This house is mine.”

It disappeared, leaving a stink. It’s a crime.

I wasn’t sure just what I’d do.

I decided to call in you.

Your fame is a ghost hunter and more.

You would escort the ghost right out the door.

The wraith appeared, sitting on a hot stove.

Soon, his smell was something to loathe.

He said: “You be gone when the morning come.”

You said: “Now, I’ve got you on the run.”

You surrounded it with a circle of salt.

Made a pentagram with powdered malt.

Mumbled an enchantment, or two.

The ghost simply smiled at you.

You yelled: “Leave, and never return.”

The ghost disappeared with no concern.

You said: “My job here is done.”

The ghost said: “Now you be on the run.”

We both yelled in our surprise.

The ghost disappeared before our eyes.

You said: “This may be harder than I thought.”

I said: “Tell me. Is this all you brought?”

“We will trap it in a web of spells.”

“Bind it up until it yells.”

The wraith came back, causing much fear.

It said: “That won’t work. Now you be gone from here.”

The ghost never left the place.

I decided I had better taste.

You decided to change careers.

We both went out and had some beers.

The Magician’s War (Epilog)

            The Magician’s War (Epilog)

The Emperor of the Warlocks was Kronos.

He had ruled since the first war. Their evil foe.

Through black magic he had sustained his life.

He had beaten Anethea without a big fight.

He knew sometime they would come for him again.

An escape route had been planned for him.

He expected to beat Anika when the time came.

It was a shock to barely escape the pain.

He felt the 10 Wizards enter the castle.

He fled through an underground  rat hole.

He had a hidden bunker, well insulated against magic.

If they had discovered him, it would have been tragic.

But, they didn’t. Now, he would plot his revenge.

They had no knowledge that his life, he could extend.

He had many, many years to dabble in The Black Arts.

They would learn when he ripped them apart.

It would take time because, now, he was alone.

That would change. They would be shown.

He would bring forth demons at his command.

They would raise havoc throughout the land.

This land would be his again. He would win.

Who dares to say The Black Arts is a sin?

He started plotting his revenge that very day.

“It won’t be long now,” he cackled. “Let them pray!!”

The Magician’s War (Chapter 14)

        The Magician’s War (Chapter 14)

“What I have planned,” Anika said

“is something that will befuddle their head.”

“Their ‘home’ is a huge castle.”

“It is protected by a shield that looks natural.”

“We can’t get in without alerting them.”

“ So, we will bring them out.” “ A simple whim.”

“Their hatred is great against the Normals.”

“An attack by them would be scornful.”

“We will fire on the shield with a device

that will sling big rocks at the shield.” “ Nice.”

“They will think it is the Normals doing it.”

“Their hatred will boil.” “The stupid wits.”

“They will come boiling out to kick some ass.”

“Invisible, some of us will slip in.” “ Slick as glass.”

“Once inside, we will bring down the castle .”

“It will be reduced to a pile of gravel.”

“Enraged, they will come rushing back.”

“That is when I will use my tact.”

“I am the Great Deceiver.” She said.

“I will leave them without magic, not dead.”

“Great Deceivers have only done that to one.”

“Not hundreds, like what will come?”

“I know this, but feel I can pull it off.”

“Do you know what failure will cost?”

“Of course I do, but good will beat evil.”

‘My method will then be revealed.”

The plans were laid and then came the day.

Everything was in place. They were ready to play.

3 catapults were built and put in place.

Kept invisible till they started the race.

10 of the most powerful wizards were

near the castle door when things did occur.

The signal was given. The catapults did fire.

Rocks slammed into the shield. It rang like a wire.

In no time, warlocks came pouring out.

Most were flying. Some ran about.

The 10 Wizards slipped in.

Now, the fun was about to begin.

The 10 Wizards found the castles main supports.

They were ready. They would not abort.

They all pointed their wands and yelled “Destructo”

Bright beams flew out of wands with a chuckle.

They all beamed out before the beams struck.

A tremendous explosion took out all struts.

The entire castle fell in on itself.

The shield collapsed in the fire lit melt.

Warlocks everywhere came to a stop.

They came rushing back to the melting pot.

Anika floated above the castle mess.

She glowed like she was wearing a fiery dress.

All Warlocks were looking at her in shock.

She said: “God, grant me the power I need

To put an end to this evil seed”

“I am your servant for good.”

“ Let me make things right, like it should.”

A big flash of blue light spread from her wand.

It covered every Warlock and beyond.

There was absolute silence everywhere.

Then, Warlocks began dropping. What a scare.

All had lost their magical power.

Their evil rule ended that very hour.

Normals were grabbing them all.

Some were ripped apart after their fall.

Others were slapped in  a prison.

Many were hurting from the beating given.

The Normals learned to live in freedom.

The castle was forbidden from the kingdom.

The wizards praised Anika for her ability .

She said; “It was God’s will, you see.”

Anika and the panthers, plus Pern,

would stay on and help the Normals learn.

Eventually, she would return to her home.

The Wizard VS Warlock War had shown

that good can triumph by love alone.

The Magician’s War (Chapter 13)

        The Magician’s War (Chapter 13)

The ‘home’ had been maintained for over 800 years.

It was maintained by magic, animated overseers.

The grounds were well maintained at all times.

The same with the home, yet there was no sign.

It was invisible to all, but those of our kind.

Impossible to penetrate by magic or force.

Always ready to be occupied by us, of course.

Thus, a meal for all was not a problem.

Prepared by magically created goblins.

We all ate, visited, rested, then, began to plan.

Anika led out, with no objections from any man.

She relayed to them where the Warlock ‘home’ was.

She said:” First, we must recon the area because

I have a plan that is starting to form.”

“We lost before fighting one on one.” “ Hatred was born.”

“We cannot drop to their level.” “ We are the light.”

“God will give us what we need to fight.”

“We will manipulate them into a trap.”

“Their own hatred will have their back.”

“That will be their downfall in the end.”

“It is what is going to help us to win.”

They didn’t have a clue what she meant.

She said: “All would be explained, then they could vent.”

“We have the ability of invisibility on our side”

“They have never been able to, though they tried.”

“They could track us by our smell.”

“That should no longer be a problem with our new spell,”

said one of the Wizards. One of The 12 leaders.

“We perfected it after you left, Anika.”

“We were sorry you couldn’t use it to help keep ya.”

“But, thank God, you made it through without it.”

“Your information just helped my plan to fit.”

So, using invisibility and scent disruptor, they went.

They blended in nicely with the Normals, if meant.

Mostly, they stayed invisible learning all they could.

Sending it all ‘home’ with their wands of wood.

Then, came the day when they had learned enough.

The evil Warlock’s still weren’t aware of their stuff.

Anika had finally completed her plan.

She was ready to lay it out for every man.

What she said will have to wait till later.

I have to go and feed my gator.

The Magician’s War (Chapter 12)

        The Magician’s War (Chapter 12)

Finally, they felt good enough to move around.

She told the others:  “Check around, even the grounds.”

“Make sure all is safe and well.”

“If it isn’t, send them to hell.”

Anika’s wand had been pulling her one way.

She let it lead, with nothing to say.

It led her down to the lowest basement.

To a room incased in it.

She entered with great caution.

The room was bare, except for a coffin.

She opened it and a woman sat up.

Anika jumped, ready to disrupt.

She said: ‘I am Anethea, the Great Deceiver of the war.’

‘If you see me, you are the next Great Deceiver, or

you have her wand, which was mine till I was gone.’

‘I don’t believe this has gone that wrong.’

‘You have passed through the 7 Levels Of Hell.’

‘To do that, you have indeed done very well.’

‘I will now increase your power through the wand.’

‘It will happen through our bond.’

‘This will be needed for the war you will now face.’

‘After all this time, this is a different place.’

‘The Warlock’s home is beyond the second sea.’

‘At least, it was in the time of me.’

‘All their magic comes from the dark side.’

This is something we reject, with pride.

‘It is evil, vicious, uncaring, and very deadly.’

‘But, good can overcome, as you will see.’

‘I failed because I was too kind.’

‘My downfall was due to this state of my mind.’

‘Most of the population here are ‘Normals.’

‘Those with no magical ability, as their core goes.’

‘They are made into slaves.’

‘Treated very badly by those with Worlock ways.’

‘The few who are born with latent magic

are killed very soon by the Worlock’s.’ ‘ Tragic.’

‘If you are to win the Warlock vs Wizard War,

you have to be like them to your very core.’

‘I am not saying you should become evil.’

‘Think like them, then you will perceive their will.’

‘Outsmart them at every turn.’

‘They have nothing that you can learn.’

‘They don’t have the ability to think creatively.’

‘But, you do. The 7 Levels proved that blatantly.’

‘Tremendous power will come through to you.’

‘Use it wisely in all that you do.’

‘This is the last gift that I can give.’ ‘ Bless you.’

‘May God be with you and give you what I can’t give you.’

Anika’s wand started to glow.

Then got super bright as the power flowed.

She was surrounded in a covering of light.

It filled her with power and its might.

She fell to the floor immediately after.

When she awoke, the panthers were looking at her.

They knew that something had changed.

They felt the power through their mental exchange.

Anika rose and said: “It’s time to get to work.”

She knew what she planned was not berserk.

She sent a message via wand to her home planet.

She had made it to earth, they got, as they scanned it.

She said: “Follow the link I am sending to you.”

“It will allow each of you to pass through.”

“That will take tremendous power,” they sent to her.

“I can handle it now” “Travel without fear, for sure.”

It was done and they started coming through.

They popped into sight everywhere. Quite a zoo.

When it was over, the large room was full.

A meal was set and they made their plans to go.

The Warlock vs Wizard War would begin again.

I can’t say yet exactly how it will end.
